Those which enter to lagoon are running through a watershed area Of 347000 hectare. In the year 1990 monthly Sampling were conducted on eleven rivers ended to Anzali lagoon. In order to found out standard water quality index for those rivers, the physicochemical parameters such as temperature, ortho-phosphate, ammonia, nitrate, chemical oxygen demaind and total suspended solid has been determined. With the aid of rating curve the quality index for each sampling station were determined, and the eleven rivers has been classified accordingly. The result indicat that the Pirbazar River with respect to pollution is more critical, because first the most industrial activities are concentrated in the watershed area of this river and second this river is receiving the untreated domestic wastewater of the Rasht city which is the biggest city of Guilan province. The annual production of minced fishmeat in Japan was 35400 tons in the year 1965 which increased rapidly after three years to 137000 tons in 1963. At present the trade of this product in the world has reached 1 million tons. 20 years ago the frozen minced meat industry in Japan consisted of 55 factories and 2 fishing vessels. Fishes which were not suitable to be used to prepare fish paste were made use of in this industry. These fish include Horse Mackerel, Hasoon and Alaska polak. The minced meat of these fish was used to make various fish pastes, fish sausages etc. The Fisheries Research Center in Guilan province in the southern coasts of the Caspian Sea has done a lot of work on minced meat of the small pelagic fish kilka (Clupeonella sp.). Brood-stock achieve spawning time during March-April when the ambient temperature in local climate ranges 12 – 14 ֯C. Man-made nests prepared by wooden frames and which synthetic wool bunches are fastened and placed in pond water at intervals of 5 meters each. The spawners preferred the green texture nest material which were placed close to bottom. The eggs drop on the nest and average fertilization occurred 30 - 90%. The nests, eggs on them are kept in mist chamber and also collected fertilized eggs placed into 200 lit zugjar for development. The former method and technique produced better survival rate. Appearance of eye pigmentation on the eggs observed during the 3th or 4th day of incubation process. Yolk-sac absorption lasted 9-13 days. The water temperature recorded 12-16 ֯C during the culture. The numbers of 1g dry eggs computed 1900-2050 and swelled eggs 1120-1170. Fishes are good animal protein resources and are suitable for genetic researches because of their short maturation time, high number of egg production in each spawning, and easy rearing. New characteristic can be establishes by it's related gene transfer. Transgenic researches in the fishes started about ten years ago. Different gene constructs were used in these researches. More than 60% of works were pure research to find the principal of gene transfers in the fishes. About 37.5% of research used growth hormone gene to improve fish growth; the rest of researches used anti-freeze protein gene. Adjustment of DNA forms, buffer contents transferring method for gene transfer are the main factors in the success of fish transgenic.
