In experimental ponds total amonia solution, total nitrogen, phosphate and inorganic carbon varied between 0-1050), 178-1093, phosphate 0-88 and 130-5410 ug/lit ) respectively. During the growing season the total amount of nitrogen (N), phosphate (P) and carbon (C) were fluctuating between (0.7-1.9), (0.062-2.05), (49.71-130) mg/gr. The primary variation range was 0.98 and 8.9 carbon/m2 per day, COD was 11-109 and BOD was 0.4-16.35 mg/lit oxygen. The resultes showed that in spite of using inorganic manures 100-150 kg/ha Per day, the ponds still had the ability of digestion of inorganic carbon, nitrogen and phosphorus. In the majority of the ponds the rate of total sediment of inorganic C and P were increased during growing perioed. We can use also COD and BOD as the manuring rate indicator in fish pond ecosystems.

During one year survey (1992-1993) 47 different species of fishes were caught by drift gill net from Bahmanshir, Karoon and Dez rivers. Distribution, frequency, ecological indices (diversity, richness and dominance), salinity coefficient (for Karoon and Bahmanshir rivers) were also calculated. In Karoon rivers 32 species, in Bahmanshir 25 species and in Dez 12 species were identified. Freshwater fishes of Karoon include 17.9%, Bahmanshir 5.9% and Dez 14.6% of total freshwater fishes in Iran. Among identified fishes 4 nor endemic species, 2 anodermus species and the rest are dwelled and one species is rare. The most frequent species were: Clupeidae (3 genus and 3 species) in Bahmanshir river, and Cyprinidae (10 genus 16 species) in Dez river and(12 genus and 19 species) in Karoon river. Also the maximum fish abundance was in autumn, in Bahmanshir and Dez rivers and in spring in Karoon river. The similarity percentage of species between Karoon and Bahmanshir was very low. The maximum diversity and evens also belong to Bahmanshir and the maximum species richness and dominance belong to Karoon river.

During a ecological study in biomasses of Choghakhour Lagoon (Charharmahal-Bakhtiary) six stations were selected. During October 1995 to September 1996 sampling were repeated three times (with Grab Walkman method). The surveys showed that the dominant aquatic organism in the lagoon is Oligochaetes which were observed in all stations and all months. after Oligochaetes, Chironomidae were the most abundant and Gammaridae were the least. According the surveys the 6th station with clay and detrus bottom (5.8± 4.2gr/m2) contained the highest biomasses and the 4th station with sandy and covered by mullusce shell debris (0.06±0.054g/m2 ) contained the least. In the winter 1995 bentose biomasses with the population of 8400±4007 and 0.025±0.021gr/m2 were the least. During different seasons water temperature and fish feeding may be important subjects in biomasses abundance fluctuation.

This study was performed to obtain an optimum ecosystem and reach to higher output in shrimp farms in 4 ponds (a monoculture of Penaeus indicus and 3 biculture of P. indicus and Chanos chanos). during July to December 1997 in 7 ponds that belong to Said-e-Kish company in Tiab (130 Km east of Bandar Abbas). In July after providing experimental ponds the shrimp were introduced, two months later (in bicultural method) the fish (Chanos chanos) were also introduced (in the ratc of 600, 900 and 1200/hectare). For C Omparing of growth rate of shrimps, a one way variance analysis methods, and to find the difference of observation-Newman Kolies method-were used. The C Onsequence showed that the best shrimp production pond was 600 pieces of Chanos chanos in the amount of 2025 Kg/h (with the average weight: 17gr) while in the monoculture was 1420 kg/h (12.3 gr). By considering the increase in production, prices and food consuming the pure profit was 8,295,000 Rs/h in I cultureal harvest (600 fish/ha) and in II cultural harvest (900 fish/ha) the pure profit (in comparing with IV monoculture) was 2,373,500 Rs/h, also in Ill culture (1200 fish/ha) the pure profit was 6,975,000 Rs/h.

A survey on appearance time of Chanos chanos fry in estuaries' mouth of rivers and intherivers (because of determination their abundance and gathering time) was made in the east of Hormozgan province (from Bandar-Abbas to Chahbahar). In this survey 8 stations were chosen (Khoor-Chel, Shour, Takhterize, Tiab, Gask, Hilero, Gorgince, and Gabreek). Net was used for sampling and counting the C. chanos fry. According to this research the appearance time of C. chanos fry continues from middle of April to the end of December. Among all above mentioned stations the most frequency was found in Tiab Estuary and the least was found in Gask. The main peak of C. chanos fry abundance in Hormozgan province is in the July and October months. Examinations from C chanos fry's stomachs shows that their main plantal were: Phormidium, Oscillatoria, Diatoma, Nitzschia and Merismopedia, and zooplankton food include: Rotifera, Crustacea egg, and Foraminifora. C. chanos fry that have 0.05-3 gr weight were mostly hunted in places with least than 20 cm depth.

Survey was made for determination of some biological parameters of Yellowfin tuna in Hormozgan province (during 1995 to 1996) and it was determined that catch of above mentioned species in 1996 by gillnet was nearly 1133 tons. Comparing the length of the fish caught by industrial way with traditional way shows the bigger sizes were caught in industrial way. Yellowfin tuna was caught in the east Hormozgan strait specially Kouh-Mobarak and Gask to Meidani areas and the peak of hunting time was in April and September to December months. The maximum length of Yellowfin tuna was 158 cm and the minimum was 38 cm. The relationship between their weight and length was W=6.2 x 10-5 L 2.7283 . Their length and weight coefficient were estimated by these formula: L∞=181.62 cm, K=0.54 y-1 , and natural mortality, fishing mortality and total mortality are: Z=2.37, F=1.67 and M=0.70.

Unwanted organisms of five shrimp farms in Bushehr were studied from September to December 1997 in a culture period. In a random and systematic sampling 2 species of wild shrimp, 13 species of fish, 2 species of carb, one species of barnacles, 2 species of sea weeds, and 2 group of birds were collected and identified. These organisms are considered as pests, tood competitors, predators and diseases vectors that with increasing food conversion, hunting mechanical injuries, stress and diseases take important part in decreasing the shrimp production. The best way of eliminating them is to avoid them entering in shrimp farms by paying enough attention to ponds and farms.
